Bitterlake Quarters & Paints L.L.C. is a family owned and operated Ranch located in Tuttle, Oklahoma, established in 1999, Owned by Kenneth & Carolyn Waller who are also the proud owners of 4-Star Trailers in Oklahoma City.
Bitterlake is managed by Russell McIntosh. Russell has raised and shown multiple World and Reserve World champion Quarter and Paint horses for over 17 years.
Here at Bitterlake, We are dedicated to raising World Champion quality Halter Horses. We firmly believe the foundation to any breeding program is the quality of the mares. We are very proud of our selection of Brood mares and the babies they are producing.
Embryo Transfers are the main part of our breeding program. Our success rate has been very good. All of our Embryo transfers and implants are performed by, Royal Vista Southwest, located in Purcell, Oklahoma.

We have approximately 300 acres of beautiful green pastures and paddocks, enclosed by white pipe fence with 5 ponds spread out amoung the various pastures.
This all surrounds " Bitter Creek ", a Water Shed Project built on the property by the US Department of Agriculture in 1972, after which Bitterlake was named.

Our Show Barn is climate controlled with an adjoining, heated indoor arena We also have a state of the art Breeding facility with a fully equipped lab for Stallion collection, breeding and for shipping semen.
Our Breeding facility is connected to
one of our mare barns where cameras have been installed over large 12' x 24' foaling stalls so that we can monitor our mares during foaling.
The larger of our two mare barns, has two indoor arena's to allow mares and babies to be turned out daily for exercise, regardless of the weather.
